Benjamin Youngstrom
Founder/CEO
Benjamin's lifelong obsession with aviation took flight when he happened to cross paths with the owner of a prominent business aviation consulting firm during a vacation flight, leading to a life-changing mentorship opportunity. Guided by this invaluable experience Benjamin immersed himself in the aviation industry, starting with ramp services and later co-founding a 3D printing startup, guiding its journey from inception to exit. His horizons expanded further when he managed a flight school at PDK, gaining diverse experiences and expertise, which ultimately paved the way for the creation of Fyve By. After convincing Preston LaVangie to join him, they embarked on their entrepreneurial journey in 2022, bringing their innovative vision to life.

Preston LaVangie is a passionate innovator with a lifelong fascination for machines and technology. From a young age, his love for cars and robotics led him to lead middle and high school robotics teams. During his time at Georgia Southern, he showcased his talents as a leader by spearheading the award-winning SAE racing team and exploring the world of automated farming technology at Farmer Automatic. After graduating, his creative spirit led him to design lighting for Acuity, but the entrepreneurial idea that Benjamin pitched during college never left his mind. In 2022, fueled by their shared vision, they co-founded Fyve By, where they are bringing their innovative ideas to life.
